Is there an hourly minimum wage?

No. Mexico sets the minimum wage by the day. The pay for a working day can never be less than the daily minimum wage.

CONASAMI says that the minimum wage cannot be split by the hour for days shorter than the legal maximum. It cites articles 61 and 83 of the Federal Labour Law.
